The artist I studied is Claude Monet. My favorite painting by Monet is called "The Japanese Bridge". I created my own painting inspired by this-- call it "The Monk on the Japanese Bridge". My artist worked in France in the late 1800's. After one year in Paris he was called up to do his military service, but he always wanted to be an artist...and so he did.Tuesday, April 13, 2010
