The artist I studied is Katsushika Hokusai. My favorite painting by Hokusai is "Weeping Cherry and Bullfinch". I created my own art inspired by this artist--I call my painting "Bird inthe Mountains". Hokusai worked in Japan in the mid 1800's. Hokusai changd his last name at least 25 times in his lifetime and he drew comics as a young boy.Wednesday, April 21, 2010
