Grant Wood by Julia L, 5th grade

The artist I studied is Grant Wood. My favorite painting by Wood is called "Stone City". I created my own painting inspired by this art. I call it "Study for Dinner for the Threshers". My artist worked in Minneapolis, Chicago and Paris. An interesting fact--when Grant Wood was little, he taught himself to draw and paint.
