The artist I studied is Henri Matisse. My favorite painting by that artist is called "The Swimming Pool". Ic reated my own painting inspired by this art called "The Colorful". Matisse was born in 1869. He started wanting to be an artist, but his father wanted him to be a lawyer. I'm glad he decided to be an artist.Thursday, March 11, 2010
