Andy Warhol by Kacie, 5th grade

The artist I studied is ANdy Warhol. My favorite painting by Warhol is called Sam. I created my own art inspired by this painting--my painting is called "Popart Turtles". Andy Warhol worked in teh United States in the late 1900's. An interesting fact you may not know about Andy Warhol--he wanted to be a dancer, but his teachers saw his talent in art and encouraged him to be an artist.
